Meet My Team

Swimming may seem like an individual sport, but there is a team effort behind the athlete you see on the screens. The amazing and incredible people and companies mentioned below are the glue, holding me together each week and helping me reach the highest level, whilst continually helping me improve.

My incredible family

Lucky's incredible family have been there for her since the very beginning! They have been her biggest supporters and #1 fans through the highs and lows. Lucky says she is incredibly blessed to have such a loving support network around her, continually helping her through daily life tasks, guidance and love. Lucky's family has definitely been thrown some pretty big challenges in the past, but have always managed to show resilience and overcome anything thrown at them. They have been Lucky's greatest teachers, and continue to inspire and motivate her every day.

Fortify Physiotherapy

Being an elite athlete and under intense training, it can be quite taxing on the body. Therefore, in order to prevent injury and maintain the body, Lucky sees APA Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist Tim Lynch at North Lakes Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy. Tim is also a crucial part of Lucky's support team.

Lucky is blessed to train in the gym at North Lakes Health Hub, alongside teammates Brenden Hall and Hayden Cotter. An experienced sportsperson himself, Dave Berry is an exceptional Strength and Conditioning coach and works tirelessly in the gym to get the most out of his athletes - allowing us to work hard and reach our goals and full potential. Very thankful for Dave to be a part of Team Lucky and for all his ongoing support.

Northside Sports Remedial Massage

Fabian Misso is a fully qualified Sports Massage Therapist and has been treating Lucky for over 3 years now. Due to having Cerebral Palsy as well as a high volume training load, Lucky’s muscles get quite tight very quickly. Weekly massage helps relax the body and is a great aid for recovery.
